The Maverick Momentum program kicks off again for 2026 in January.

The Maverick Momentum (MM) is a six-month mentorship initiative, fostering collaboration between the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) and the Office of Talent, Culture, and Engagement (TCE) Engagement. It aims to involve SAC Representatives and UTA Staff—who take part in SAC’s diverse events—in building a community centered on mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning.

For potential mentees, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with a mentor who can offer insight, advice, and help guide you through the next stage(s) of your career. There will be two workshops, a mentorship mixer, and enriching monthly one-on-one sessions with a mentor. See an array of skill development discussion topics below:

• Personal Branding

If you have been employed at UTA for at least six months, in good standing, and have supervisor approval, you are welcome to apply. Unfortunately, there is a limit on the number of mentees we can accept into the cohort– so make sure to apply early as we will admit on a first come first serve basis.
