Performance Management

Performance management is an ongoing process for developing individuals and enhancing their performance. The following courses are designed to assist managers and supervisors in using the process to give constructive, developmental feedback. Employees gain strategies for using performance management to ensure that they get the feedback they need for development.

Led by the UTA HR Business Partners, this class is designed for managers focusing on:

  • Developing goals
  • Writing evaluations
  • Providing feedback
  • Reviewing the ratings criteria of the evaluation process

Objectives: Participants will examine the process of writing performance evaluations, discuss how to develop SMART goals, and apply rating criteria

This self-paced video series is in Canvas and focuses on the manager tasks that are necessary to complete the evaluation process.  You will learn the four steps in the ePerformance process including how to complete your self-evaluation and acknowledge your performance evaluation.

This self-paced video series is in Canvas and focuses on both the employee and manager tasks that are necessary to complete the evaluation process.  Some of the topics include how to complete a self-evaluation, manager evaluation, add attachments and share the evaluation with the employee.
