I-9 Reverifications
If you are a current employee or student worker whose I-9 work authorization is due to expire before your employment with UTA ends, you must have your Form I-9 reverified before the expiration. All employees or student workers must present extensions to work authorization as soon as they become available but no more than 60 days prior to the expiration of your work authorization and no later than the date the work authorization expires. When your work authorization expires you can no longer work and receive pay and benefits from the University.
To have your current Form I-9 reverified, you MUST present original, unexpired acceptable supporting documents that indicate your classification is authorized to work, to the onboarding center in-person. An onboarding navigator will then review and update your current Form I-9 through Equifax and E-Verify. To view a list of acceptable supporting documents, click below.
Please note: Your I-9 can only be viewed by an authorized onboarding navigator. Do not attempt to access your I-9 online to view your current one or start a new one. The system will not grant you access.
