As a UT Arlington staff or faculty member retiree, you may be eligible for the following benefits and program participation.

The retiree completes a form with the Office of Human Resources and a new retiree email account is set up for staff with the (retired.uta.edu) in the address. Retirees who are faculty continue with their email account.
Upon retirement, retirees will begin receiving retiree club announcements for events including the annual retiree dinner with the President. Participation is voluntary.
  • Faculty or staff that have honorably retired from service are eligible for the same parking privilege as full-time faculty and staff at no charge. Confirmation from Human Resources is required, and the permit must be renewed annually. If the retiree returns to UTA as either an employee or a student, the retiree permit becomes invalid, and the retiree is required to purchase the appropriate permit.  
  • Rehired retirees appointed in UT Share for one hour per week or less are eligible for a department-paid parking permit at the current department-discounted rates.  Rehired retirees working regular part-time positions at UTA must purchase their own permit.

Old retirees and new retirees can come in the Hereford Center across from the Starbucks.  They can access a card by mavexpress@uta.edu or call 817-272-2645.  Also, the MavExpress Card is needed for only parking lots with a gate: Lot 38 (By the bookstore) and lot F-13 (By the Business building)

Access to electronic materials is available to retirees in all Library locations.  Guest Services Desk can help you get started.
Ability to purchase membership to the Maverick Activities Center (MAC) for $20 a month and access to all Wellness Programs.
