This course will help pinpoint how to delegate the right task, choose the right person for the task, and develop a plan and process for delegating effectively.

Objectives: Participants will discuss the elements of delegation and construct a delegation plan to empower others.

This session guides managers in conducting team action planning using their People and Culture survey results. Learn about UTA's 5 steps of action planning and how to use the steps when planning with your team.

Objectives: Learn the key concepts of employee engagement and discover how to effectively prepare for a productive engagement discussion with your team.

The power to influence doesn't always come from a leader's job title. Any leader can have influence. How do you lead across the University with your peers? Participants will explore the power of influence and how to leverage it especially when you are not in charge.

Objectives: Participants will examine influence and persuasion and identify ways to leverage influence as a leadership skill.

A foundational leadership course that uses the Core Values as the lens to demonstrate leadership behaviors that are essential to our culture at UT Arlington. This course is a prerequisite to participate in one of the TCE Leadership and Management cohort programs

Objective: Participants will examine specific leadership behaviors that are critical to the success of a UTA leader.

Managers, colleagues, and friends can all help to provide support, insight, and learning. Learn how to deliver feedback that enhances professional growth, promotes expression of appreciation, and offers valuable information.

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ workshop is based on Patrick Lencioni’s best-selling book The Five Dysfunctions of a team. This interactive workshop will guide you through the framework of embracing healthy team behaviors -- Trust One Another; Engage in Conflict Around Ideas; Commit to Decisions; Hold One Another Accountable and Focus on Shared Results.

Objectives: Establish positive new behaviors that support everyday effective team practices.
