The University is committed to providing quality programs and a good working environment for our employees. The Exit Interview Program is designed to identify work environment issues that contribute to retention and turnover, such as providing insight into the success of recruiting efforts, the effectiveness of University benefits, compensation and training programs, as well as information on the quality of work life. In addition, it provides exiting employees an opportunity to voice concerns and make suggestions.

All separating employees should complete an Exit Interview Questionnaire and a Separation Clearance Checklist as well as comply with any departmental exit requirements. Completion of the Exit Interview Questionnaire is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.
Supervisors are urged to encourage all regular employees who are leaving employment at the University or transferring to another department within the University to participate in the Exit Interview Program as part of the Offboarding process.
