Digital Course Production Studio

The Digital Course Production Studio project, part of the eLearning TM program, designed and equipped a state-of-the-art production studio in Trinity Hall 119 to produce recorded and live video content with faculty. Benefits of the Digital Course Production Studio include flexible production with synchronous and asynchronous delivery options for high-quality course component productions that are increasingly expected by today’s learners in online environments.

Creating the Digital Production Studio supports the larger eLearning goal of building needed infrastructure to transform learning at UTA. This facility provides flexible equipment and arrangements to support recording or streaming high quality and engaging video content for eLearning courses. The planned flexibility allows for many scenarios, including instructor lecture, guest speaker, “talk show,” or role playing. The studio equipment includes three pan tilt zoom (ptz) 4K video cameras with remote control, four lavalier wireless microphones, two 65” LED displays, Ross video production unit, studio quality lighting, digital audio mixer, and digital video storage.

To schedule time in the studio, please contact the Center for Distance Education at CDEID@uta.edu. In the future, faculty will be able to utilize an online booking portal to make an appointment for studio use.
