Graduate Certificate - Military, Veteran and Family Care
School of Social Work
The Military, Veteran, and Family Care Graduate Certificate, part of the eLearning TM program, will prepare students to work with military service members, veterans and their families across settings. The Military, Veteran, and Family Care Graduate Certificate will be open to any graduate student at UTA and will focus on military, military connected and veteran culture toward effectively serving these populations in non-clinical settings.
Admission Criteria
Current UTA graduate students in good academic standing may complete the Military, Veteran, and Family Care Graduate Certificate. Non-degree seeking students must meet minimum admission criteria for graduate admission, which include: a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours of study, and appropriate TOEFL or IELTS scores if not a native speaker of English.

Completion Requirements (for catalog)
Twelve credit hours are required in the Certificate (four courses). All students must have a cumulative GPA in the required courses of at least 3.0 with no grade lower than a C to obtain the certificate. We will post this to the students’ transcripts upon completion. The time limit for completion of the Certificate Program is six years.
