Mavs Online Orientation
The Online Student Orientation project, part of the eLearning TM program, will develop and launch a UTA online orientation experience for students enrolled in fully online academic programs (degree-seeking or certificate-seeking). Online students will benefit from an engaging delivery of a university-level welcome through an online orientation experience, including connection to UTA resources and a development of a sense of belonging.
All degree-seeking undergraduate students are required to attend UTA’s orientation, however no orientation is required for certificate-only seeking students, nor is there an online orientation option for students in fully-online programs. The online student orientation project aims to address this gap in the student onboarding process by delivering tailored content for this student population, positioning students for success in their online academic programs and developing a sense of belonging at UTA.
