On-Campus Student Employment
Student employment provides many students with their first professional experience, with jobs ranging from short term, project-based assignments, to employment opportunities spanning all four undergraduate years. Internship Information
The Career Development Center posts internships from employers seeking to hire UTA students on our job listing database, Handshake. In addition, our new exciting partnership program with employers, the UTA Economic Development through Guidance Education Program (EDGE) is a dedicated internship initiative with the goal of developing internships and other experiential learning opportunities for students.
Special Programs
The UTA Career Development Center offers intentionally designed programs to help advance career development. All of these opportunities are designed to aid students in developing workforce skills and competencies through experiential learning opportunities.
Handshake
Handshake is the #1-way college students find jobs and internships. Handshake makes it easy for employers to recruit students. In addition, faculty and staff can utilize Handshake to post on-campus student employment positions, help students search and apply for jobs, see upcoming career related events, and more in this online job database.
